Bonnie Lynd

Bonnie Mae Lynd , age 80, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 20, 2021 at Penn  Highlands DuBois surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on December 26, 1940 in Ridgway, the daughter of the late Hilding L. and June Earlanson Anderson.

On June 3, 1956, Bonnie married the late Richard E. Lynd, who preceded her in death on November 21, 2008.

Bonnie is survived by three daughters; Linda Redoute and her husband Benett of Michigan, Lana Lyle and her husband William of Titusville, and Lisa Trumbull and her husband Robert of Sigel and by 10 grandchildren, Joshua, Zachary, Hannah, Matthew, and Noah Redoute; Chelsea and Casey Lyle; Lyndsey Thompson and her husband Jacob, Tara Rowles and her husband Ethan, and Chloe Trumbull.  She is also survived by 5 sisters, Janet Viglione, Loretta Herzing, Karen (George) Nero, Junette Weisner, all of St. Marys, and Lynn (Leo) Schrubb of Missouri as well as by numerous nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter; Denise Anne Lynd, a son; Richard E. Lynd, Jr., and by a sister; Shirley Fabiano.

Bonnie and her husband were entrepreneurs and owned numerous businesses over their lifetime. She loved spending time with her family, especially her ten grandchildren. In addition, she enjoyed watching movies, antiques, and going to yard sales. Bonnie was the most selfless and loving person, and would have done anything for anyone.

Bonnie was a devoted Catholic who enjoyed attending mass at St. Leo Magnus Church.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Bonnie M. Lynd will be celebrated on Tuesday, May 25, 2021 at 11:00 AM at St.Leo Magnus Church, 111 Depot Street, Ridgway, PA 15853 with Fr. Justin Pino, Pastor, and Fr. Ross Miceli concelebrating.

There will be no visitation.
