Carol Dickant

Carol L. Dickant , 84, of 29 Hillside Drive,  Ridgway, died at Penn Highlands DuBois on Friday, July 2, 2021.
She was born in Ridgway on June 30, 1937, a daughter of the late Cleo and Enid Huckabone Callahan.
On November 24, 1956 she married John P. Dickant, who preceded he in death on June 4, 2018.
Carol was a lifelong resident of Ridgway, and was a member of St. Leo Church.  She enjoyed being with her family and her dog Buffy.  She also enjoyed playing cards and hosting family gatherings.
She is survived by four sons: Johnny Dickant of Ridgway, Jim Dickant of Greensburg, Joe Dickant and Tim Dickant of RIdgway, by one daughter, Deb ( Timothy)Aiello of Ridgway,and by twelve grandchildren; Dustin, Nick, Alex, Taylor, Amanda, Andy, Jean Marie, Crystal, Tonya, Jamie and James; 36 great grandchildren
and five great great grandchildren; one sister, Mary Huckabone of Illinois.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a great grandson, Nash Aiello; two brothers, Bill and Bob Callahan and a sister, Betty Wyrenth.
Funeral and Committal Services for Carol L. Dickant are being held privately and at the convenience of the family.
