James E. "Jim" Wilson

James E. “Jim” Wilson, 77, of Ridgway, died on November 4, 2023, at Bradford Manor after a lengthy illness.

He was born on September 16, 1946, in Ridgway, a son of the late Lyle “Tug” Wilson.

On August 7, 1976, he married Kathlene Miller who survives.

Jim was a lifelong resident of Ridgway. He spent his time working on the Wilson farm and working as a machinist at GKN. Jim enjoyed hunting, Star Trek, and westerns.

In addition to his wife of 47 years, he is survived by a daughter, Tammi Vogt and her husband Jason of Ridgway, 3 grandchildren, Kyrstan, Alex, and Bree, a sister, Linda Young of Ridgway, and a brother, Robert Wilson of Ridgway.

A Memorial Service for James. E. Wilson will be held on Friday, November 10, 2023, at 1:00 PM at Hallton Church Bible Training Center, 657 Evergreen Drive, Ridgway, PA, 15853, with Rev. Ron Burkett officiating.

Family and friends will be received on Friday, November 10, 2023, at Hallton Church Bible Training Center from 12:00 PM until the time of service.
