Noel E Feronti

Noel E. Feronti, 86, of Ridgway, passed away on Friday, October 4, 2024, at Penn Highlands Dubois after a lengthy illness.

He was born on December 12, 1937, in Johnsonburg, the son of the late James and Dona Keller Feronti. He was the 10th of 16 children.

On January 14, 1961, at Queen of The World Church, he married the late Donna Mae Kronenwetter, who preceded him in death on August 7, 2014.

Noel was a dedicated member of St. Leo Church and graduated from Johnsonburg High School as part of the class of 1956. He proudly served in the U.S. Army and National Guard. Noel studied business management at Penn State Dubois and retired at the age of 60 from Airco Speer Carbon. He was actively involved in various organizations including the VFW, American Legion, Elks, Moose, Knights of Columbus, and Eagles.

A lover of horse racing, gardening, and golfing, Noel found joy in the simple pleasures of life. However, his deepest source of happiness came from being surrounded by his beloved family, with whom he shared countless precious moments. Known for his warm demeanor and infectious laughter, Noel had a way of making friends wherever he went, creating lasting connections with all those he met. Noel was blessed to have a special bond with his beloved sister Annie and special friend Jean Zilkofksi.

He is survived by 4 children: Kathleen Harris and her husband Brad of Erie, Reyne Hartzfeld and her husband Brian of Erie, John Feronti and his wife Suzanne of Ridgway, Joel Feronti and his wife Donna of North Ridgeville, OH.

10 grandchildren, Adam, Andrew, David, Meagan (Robert), Jacob (Kelley), Maddie (Aaron), Brittany, Chelsea (Barry), Seth (Kira), and Logan, and 6 great grandchildren: Hannah, Savannah, Hallie, Liam, Lucas, Alice, and 1 on the way!

He is also survived by 4 siblings: Richard Feronti, Thomas Feronti and his wife Fran, Nicolina (Anne) Stahli, Charlene Leidwinger and her husband Don, and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by a son, William Feronti, 8 brothers: James, Donald, Patrick, Charles, Eugene, Alfred, James, and Sam Feronti, and 3 sisters: LaVonne McLaughlin, Louise Feronti, and Dona McCandless.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, October 9, 2024, at 10:00 AM at St. Leo Magnus Catholic Church, 111 Depot Street, Ridgway, PA, 15853, with Fr. Justin Pino officiating.

Burial will follow at Holy Rosary Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 8, 2024, at Krise Funeral Home, 130 Center Street, Ridgway, PA, 15853, from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM.

Military honors will be accorded by the Ridgway, Johnsonburg, Wilcox Burial Detail.
