Patricia E. “Patty” Eckert, 83, of Ridgway, died on Tuesday, December 12, 2023, at her residence after a brief illness.

She was born on November 27, 1940, a daughter of the late James and Margaret Emmert Renaud

On April 3, 1980, in Johnsonburg, she married Charles Eckert, who survives.

Patty was a graduate of Kersey High School and was christian by faith. She retired from Ridgway Powdered Metals and was an active member of the Fox Twp Senior Center. Patty, along with her husband, were the founders of the Heckowee Camping Club, traveling to various states. She loved spending time with her family and was known for her amazing apple pies. Along with her camp, she enjoyed fishing with Charles, crocheting, and traveling. "Love ya later"!

In addition to her husband of 43 years, she is survived by 4 daughters; Donna Richardson, Julie Izbinski, Lisa Day, and Maggie Close and her husband Timothy Sr., all of Ridgway, adas she was an ”Umma“ to 7 grandchildren: Ashley, Shaena, Mark, Jessie, Rick, Cory and Charles Patrick, and by 5 great grandchildren and 4 honorary grandchildren; Tim Jr., Kevin, Letisha, and Rob.
She is also survived by 2 sisters; June Roush of Kersey and Jeannie Renaud of Ridgway, and by 3 brothers; Richard (Carol), George, and Thomas (Regina) Renaud.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Patrick, 2 sisters, Carol Stelene and Peggy Meloni, and by 3 brothers; James, Gary, and Dennis Renaud.

Funeral Services for Patricia E. Eckert will be held privately by the family.

Memorial contributions may be made to Penn Highlands Hospice or Ridgway Animal Haven.
