Patricia N. Olson

Patricia N. "Pat" Olson, 94, formerly of Montmorenci Road, Ridgway, passed away on Monday, July 29, 2024.

She was born on October 19, 1929, in Ridgway,  a daughter of the late Eugene A. and Marie A. Kilhoffer Nelson.

In September of 1949, Pat married the late C.H. Arnold Olson, who preceded her in death on October 1, 1981. Together they shared 32 years of marriage.

Pat graduated from Ridgway High School, class of 1948. She cared for her family for many years as a homemaker. Pat was a very involved member of St. Leo Magnus Catholic Church, where she served with the team that counted the collection on the 4th Sunday of the month for many years. She was also a proud member of the Catholic Daughters of America.

She is survived by 2 sons; Robert E. "Bob" (Loretta) Olson of Hollidaysburg, PA, and Richard A. (Brenda) Olson of Wrightsville Beach, NC, and by a daughter; Mary O. (Daniel) Fleming of Sylvania, OH, and by 4 grandchildren; Nicholas J. (Kate) Olson of Narvon, PA, Rachel E. Baldini of South Abington Township, PA, Daniel Fleming of Findley, OH, and Brittany (Adam) Wilson of Sylvania, OH. She is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren; Thomas, Gianna, Victoria, Joseph, Brennan, Landon, and Ava.

In addition to her parents and her husband, Pat was preceded in death by a Brother; William E. Nelson.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Patricia N. Olson will be held on Saturday, August 3, 2024, at 11:00 AM at the St. Leo Magnus Catholic Church, 111 Depot Street, Ridgway, PA 15853, with Fr. Justin Pino officiating.

Burial will follow in the St. Leo's Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 2, 2024, at the Krise Funeral Home, 130 Center Street, Ridgway, PA 15853 from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
