Ronald J. Luchini

Ronald J. Luchini, 65, of S. Kersey Road, Kersey, passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, September 16, 2022.

He was born on October 16, 1956, a son of Joseph R. Luchini, who survives of Kersey, and the late Betty A. Zernell Luchini, who preceded him in death in 2005.

Ron was a graduate of St. Marys Area High School, class of 1975.  He served in the U.S. Army.  A skilled craftsman and builder, Ronnie owned and operated Kersey Builders for many years.  Always a hard worker, he loved being outdoors and cutting firewood.  He was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone and will be remembered for his kind smile and calm demeanor.

In addition to his father, he is survived by his twin sons; Zackary Mattivi and his wife Becky of Wilcox and Jake Mattivi of Kersey and by three grandchildren; Lyncoln, Trey, and Logan Luchini.  He is also survived by five siblings; Bob (Brenda) Luchini of Kersey, Tom Luchini of Woodstock, MD, Ken (Lori) Luchini of St. Marys, Carol (Kurt) Rhodaback of Apollo Beach, FL, and Ann Luchini of Tallahassee, FL, as well as by numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by a son; Jeffrey Luchini in 2018.

A Memorial Service for Ronald J. Luchini will be held on Saturday, October 15, 2022 at 11:00 AM at the Krise Funeral Home, 339 Main Street, Kersey, PA 15846.

Military Honors will be accorded by the Fox Township Burial Detail.

Burial will follow in the St. Boniface Cemetery.

Family and friends will be received at the Krise Funeral Home on Saturday, October 15, 2022 from 10:00 AM until the time of the service.
