Victoria Caggiano Davidson

Victoria Caggiano Davidson, 80, passed away at Penn Highlands Elk on October 31, 2024, following a lengthy illness.

She was born on June 24, 1944, in Ridgway, a daughter of the late Romeo J. and Florence E. Heiberger Caggiano.

On December 29, 1992, in St. Augustine, she married the late John "Jack" Davidson, who preceded in death on June 25, 2021.

Vicky was known for her passion of gardening, cooking, and strolls along the beach. Her unwavering faith and devotion to her family were evident in all aspects of her life. She worked as an Administrative Assistant for the WIC Program at North Central Regional Development, as a handicap student aide for the Ridgway Area School District, and secretary for the St. Marys unemployment office, leaving a lasting impact on all she encountered. Vicky had a special bond with her family and cherished the time spent with them. Her legacy of love, warmth, and generosity will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate to know her.

She is survived by a daughter, Shelly (Walker Lee Ashley) Barker of Georgetown, KY, a son, Jim Barker of Cherryville, NC, 3 grandchildren: Bryanna (Zachary) Smith of Lexington, KY, Nicholas Harvey of Johnsonburg, and James Barker of Japan. She is also survived by 2 sisters, Francine (Anthony Defranco) Thorwart of St. Marys and Rita (Paul) Reed of Ridgway, 3 nieces: Stephanie (Randy) Cribbs of Ridgway, Christine Smith of St. Marys, and Jessica (Casey Ferguson) Thorwart of San Francisco, CA, and a nephew, Michael Thorwart of Forty Fort, PA.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a brother -in-law, James Thorwart.

A Memorial Service for Victoria C. Davidson will be held on Friday, November 15, 2024, at 6:00 PM at Krise Funeral Home, 130 Center Street, Ridgway, PA 15853.

Burial will follow at St. Leo Cemetery.

Family and friends will be received on Friday, November 15, 2024, at Krise Funeral Home from 4:00 PM until the time of the service.
